St. Valentine’s Dinner

Gentlemen, you’re in for a treat. The ladies have been planning a St. Valentine’s dinner for us. (We trade of each year for hosting duties). Word on the street says it will be exceptional. Try to dress up a bit: slacks, button up, maybe a sport coat. No date necessary at all.

Ladies: your help is requested. Find a peer minister or email Bria (bria-phipps@utulsa.edu) to find out how you can help.

Lastly, we’ll be watching Chris O’Hare in the Wanamaker Mile at 8:50p live on ESPN3.

Two-Step Time

Back again by popular demand and because it’s a whole lot of good fun, we’re having a Two-Step country dance tomorrow (Thursday, Feb 7) starting at 8p at the Newman Center. Come on down whether you have boots or not, whether you know how to do the Two Step or not. It’s super easy to learn and enjoy even if it’s your first rodeo. We’ll have ladies and gents around ready to give a lesson for ya. Invite friends. See y’all there.

Upon the Rock: Okla. Catholic Men’s Conference

The Oklahoma Catholic Men’s Conference is Saturday, February 16, 9a to 4:30p at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Norman. It’s just $39 to register as a college student, plus you can register up to the day of the conference. The keynote is Fr. Dave Dwyer from Busted Halo and the Catholic channel on Sirius/XM 129. For more information, check out the conference website.

If you’re interested in going, send Will an email (will [dash] lepage [at] utulsa [dot] edu) and we can put you in a carpool. How’s that for a great Saturday of formation for under 40 bucks?

“You are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church.” – Matthew 16:18a
