3rd Week of Easter

Happy Easter…week three! The 40 days of Lent don’t have anything on the 50 days of Easter!

This week we have our second edition of Fireside. Our guest is Tara Elpers, the FOCUS Team Director for TU. Also, we’re having face2Face on Tuesday, 8-9p.

Newman signage Marinao prayer

If you’ve been praying about how you might serve your campus, consider applying for peer ministry. The applications are available now. Print one out, pray over it, and contact a current peer minister if you have questions.

This week’s bulletin

Next Sunday’s Gospel (John 10:27-30)

Jesus said:
“My sheep hear my voice;
I know them, and they follow me.
I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish.
No one can take them out of my hand.
My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all,
and no one can take them out of the Father’s hand.
The Father and I are one.”

TU Catholic sends 48 students to SEEK

A busload of students from TU, TCC, and area colleges went to Orlando, Florida, for the SEEK 2013 conference, sponsored by FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students). The 5-day conference featured distinguished Catholic speakers such as Matthew Kelley, Fr. Robert Spitzer, and Dr. Edward Sri. Matt Maher gave an amazing concert, too. The impact from this conference will last far beyond the experience in Orlando, too.
