It’s a great week at TU Catholic: last full week of classes, daily Mass each weekday, a special talk on purgatory on Thursday, and the Catholic Olympics showdown in Stillwater on Saturday.
This Week’s Bulletin
Next Sunday’s Gospel (John 13:31-35)
When Judas had left them, Jesus said,
“Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him.
If God is glorified in him,
God will also glorify him in himself,
and God will glorify him at once.
My children, I will be with you only a little while longer.
I give you a new commandment: love one another.
As I have loved you, so you also should love one another.
This is how all will know that you are my disciples,
if you have love for one another.”
Renowned Catholic speaker and author Dr. Edward Sri will be delivering A Biblical Walk through the Mass at the Church of St. Mary on April 6. Discover how the prayers, symbols and rituals in the liturgy come alive for us once we understand their biblical roots. Save 5 bucks with early registration by March 8 ($26, lunch included. Dr. Sri will also be giving a free talk on Friday night at 7:00p, Walking with Mary: From Nazareth to the Cross. To register, go to www.churchofsaintmary.com or call Brian Desmarais at 918-749-2561.
The Oklahoma Catholic Men’s Conference is Saturday, February 16, 9a to 4:30p at the Embassy Suites Convention Center in Norman.
