Film Fest

A Newman tradition since 2004, the annual Newman Film Fest has drawn entries from our student community ranging from music videos and parodies to mockumentaries and horrors. This year’s Film Fest was another success. Here’s an archive of the films to be featured in Newman’s film festival.

CYA Theology on Tap – July 9 at McNellie’s

Tulsa Catholic Young Adults is hosting their monthly Theology on Tap on Tuesday, July 9, at the sidebar at McNellie’s Pub. The social starts at 7p and then at 8p Fr. Elias Abi Sarkis will discuss the Eastern Rite. Fr. Elias is the pastor of St. Therese of the Child Jesus, a Maronite parish in Tulsa. He studied at the Maronite seminary in Ghazir, philosophy at the Vatican, and Theology in Washington D.C. He was ordained July 19th, 1975 and came to Tulsa in 2002.
